Meet Harvey👴🏻 an 8-year old Shihtzu looking for a cozy home to spend his golden years 🌟
Harvey is sweet, silly & maybe a little senile. Sometimes, his bark is used as an indicator he needs a potty break, and sometimes that is the case. But other times? You bring him outside, just for him to stare vacantly at the air, wondering why he was put out there in the first place before deciding he’ll just take a nap instead.
Harvey may act confused sometimes, but the man always knows when you try to mix kibble in his wet food and will protest it by picking the kibble out, & leave you with a sloppy mess to clean while you think about how you could ever have the audacity to give him anything but mushy, canned goodness.
Harvey was found as a stray wandering the streets, his fur pelted in mats. A combination of the tight matting, debris trapped in the mats, and long-term exposure led to some hair loss on his back. Since coming to us and getting a well needed groom, some of the fur has grown back in, but due to his age & severity of the matting, it’s likely he’ll never re-grow all the hair along his back.
That means Harvey gets chilly easily & needs only the coziest of spots to nap.
If you’re looking for a grandpa in the form of a small gremlin, that complains about the food, lives to nap, forgets things and lives rent free on your lap, than what are you waiting for? Harvey isn’t getting any younger!
