Meet RED💥
Red is currently being fostered by one of our amazing volunteers & is also the same wonderful person that rescued Red from the streets. This is what his foster mom had to say about him:
Red is truly a one of a kind dog friend. He is the most loving, loyal boy and very much a Velcro dog. If you are looking for a true companion dog, Red is your guy. He loves nothing more than to be by your side and is a perfect cuddle buddy. Red matches your energy, he’s a younger dog and would love to go for walks or play ball in the yard but if you’re feeling like staying in, Red doesn’t judge-he’s right there on the couch or in bed with you. He really is looking for a human connection, that’s what is most important for him. He coexists with other dogs but honestly doesn’t give them much mind, he might do well with another female dog but really just wants to focus on his human. He has been around a toddler and didn’t pay her much mind either, so I’d say Red is kid friendly. He is a well mannered, potty trained love bug just waiting for the right family to scoop him up. He is crate trained and has no issues inside the house. Health-wise he is currently on heartworm treatment and doing well with it, I hide his meds in a mix of kibble and wet food and he eats it up. I adore this dog, if I didn’t already have three I’d like to keep him for myself but he deserves a family who can give him their undivided love and attention. His favorite this is to chase the lizards, frogs, and squirrels in my yard so my recommendation is no cats bc I think his instinct would be to chase.
